Hi friends,

It’s been a long road, but I’m finally back at my desk—and back inside the world of A Song of Snow and Shadows!

As many of you know, the past year and a half has been filled with unexpected wrenches: cancer, rhinectomy, radiation, and countless reconstructive surgeries. The good news? My nose is now nearly complete (cue the confetti!!), and I have one final surgery scheduled for August. Knowing the end of this part of my journey is in sight has given me a huge burst of creative energy.

And I’ve been channeling that energy into Em’s story.

I don’t have a release date to share with you yet, but I’m thrilled to tell you that the entire storyboard for A Song of Snow and Shadows is officially complete and reorganized. The puzzle pieces are fitting together in a way that finally feels right. I’ve started splicing and reworking the already-written story so it becomes the magical, heart-wrenching, edge-of-your-seat fantasy it was always meant to be.

To my wonderful live beta readers: expect an email from me soon! I’ll be reaching back out to invite you back into the process so you can jump back into Emlyn’s world with me.
