Publishing a book should come with some sort of warning label.  Pouring a year of your life into a story and finally hitting the publish button on Amazon is both exhilarating and nerve-racking.  In one hand, you’re excited to finally share your work with the world.  You’ve lived inside this story, and dreamt of nothing else for a year.  You’re so proud of yourself for finishing.  On the other hand, you’re pacing the office, chewing off what’s left of your nails wondering, “Did I overuse this word? Is chapter twelve too long? Should I have read it for the fifty-seventh time before publishing? Is it as good as I think?”

The emotions are all over the place today, so… as a means to settle myself, I shall spend the rest of the evening working on book 2 so that I stop refreshing the ad results and reviews over and over!  I’m sooooo excited about the next story and I think you will be too!
